Karaoke en Español, Parte I

Bueno, con este nuevo año, una de mis metas es de escribir mas en el blog, y de hacerlo totalmente bilingüe. Vamos a ver como me va !

Ahorita estoy visitando mis parientes en Jalisco, México. No habia venido a visitar por mas de 5 años, pero pues, eso ya es para otra entrada. Mis primos, que deveras nos han tratado super chido, nos llevaron a una barra de karaoke que se llama el Protagonico. Ahora, todos quienes me conocen, saben que me encanta el karaoke, y fue un placer inmenso de estar en un lugar donde la lista de canciones en Español era mas de unas pocas paginas al final del libro de canciones.

Uno de mis favoritos fue este chavo cantando la versión Banda de "Quiero Que Me Quieras" por Cheap Trick que Gael Garcia Bernal canto en "Rudo y Cursi". Me encanto. Que disfruten!

One of my new goals for the new year is to write more on the blog, and to do it totally bilingual. We will see how that goes!

I am currently visiting family in Jalisco, Mexico. I had not visited them for more than 5 years, but well, we'll leave that for another blog entry. My cousins, who have really been super great with my family, took us to a karaoke bar called el Protagonico (Protagonist). Now anyone who knows me knows that I love karaoke, and it was such an immense pleasure to be in a place where the list of Spanish language songs was more than a few pages in the back of the book.

One of my favorites was this guy singing the Banda version of "Didn't I See You Crying" by Cheap Trick that Gael Garcia Bernal sang in "Rudo y Cursi". I loved it. Enjoy!
